Welcome to Hanna-col Writes!

This is Me.

My name is Hanna-col. I am a homeschool graduate, a child of God, a bibliophile, a writer, a film junkie, a coffee addict, and a lover of song. I have been gluten-free since 2009. I suffer acutely from a deep desire to be a globetrotter and art museums are among some of my favorite places in the world.

I fell in love with writing when I was seven. I have dreamed of being a novelist ever since. Historical fiction will always be my lifelong passion, but I dabble in other storytelling realms as well.

This blog originally started out as Ain't We Got Fun, a place for me to participate in blog events. Now, four years later, I have changed the name and look to better represent who I am today.

My goal for Hanna-col Writes is not only to share my writing and reading journey, but to connect with like minded Christians who also have a passion for storytelling.

Write. Read. Watch. Think.

I hope to share snippets from my own writing and writing inspiration.

I hope to share book reviews and the bibliophile life.

I hope to include the occasional film review, mainly focusing on films ranging from silent movies to the 1960s, and generally letting my classic film junkie side loose once in while.

I hope to share my take and thoughts on writing, books, and film. Not just surface stuff, I want to dig a little deeper.
